What Are the Changes for SEO in 2014?


Google seems to have an agenda if you have not noticed currently. In 2013 alone, they presented 15 total updates. Some were small and hardly even visible, while others such as penguin 2.0 and Hummingbird produced some waves within the advertising area. In September, I developed a post entitled SEO in 2014 which covered a few of the fundamental practices that will amass results in the next year. Today, we're going to go cover what I expect will happen to SEO, not simply in 2014, but in the following years. By understanding what Google is attempting to do with all of these updates, we can effectively prepare for coming changes and remain ahead of the ballgame while others struggle to keep their head above water. Some think that Google has been cranking out updates routinely simply so their groups can appear hectic. I can guarantee you, this is the furthest thing from the truth. Their main intent is to gradually however definitely improve the user's experience. They wish to offer users with the info they are looking for when conducting a search and not simply over enhanced pages with little to offer.

In October, I broadened on how the Google Hummingbird update was an advance for Google in their method to offering users with the info that they are searching for by altering the search algorithm all together.

Since right now, we can just guess on exactly what the "Big G" has in store for us, but based on experiences with the previous updates and an understanding of what Google's objectives are, we can draw a number of conclusions on how to much better enhance a website for SEO in 2014.

If the Hummingbird upgrade was any indication of what's to come, specialists will suggest focusing on developing content that individuals want, with a strong focus on semantic search (the understanding of the searcher's intent ), instead of the keywords that they are typing into the search bar.
